Role Overview
Fintech platforms increasingly scale through API-driven distribution and partnerships. This role is for a strategic leader who can transform financial services into API products, enabling businesses to integrate and distribute them at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an API monetization strategy for financial services
- Build partnerships with banks, fintechs, and enterprise platforms
- Design pricing models for API usage and service consumption
- Create developer-friendly ecosystems to drive API adoption
- Monitor performance metrics such as API usage, revenue, and partner growth
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance API capabilities
- Ensure compliance with financial and data regulations
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Finance, or Technology
- 10+ years in fintech, partnerships, or platform strategy
- Strong understanding of API ecosystems and B2B fintech models
- Experience scaling platform-based financial services
- Proven leadership and strategic thinking skills
Preferred Expertise
- Experience with API marketplaces and developer platforms
- Knowledge of pricing strategies for digital services
- Familiarity with open banking ecosystems
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
