The Director of Financial Intelligence & Digital Payments Strategy will operate at the intersection of financial technology innovation, regulatory strategy, and digital infrastructure modernization. The position requires an experienced leader capable of designing frameworks that enable high-volume transaction ecosystems, cross-border payment interoperability, and intelligent financial analytics systems.

Working remotely while focusing on the Qatari fintech landscape, the director will guide the development of secure, scalable, and highly regulated digital financial networks that integrate with both domestic financial institutions and global payment ecosystems.

Core Mandate

Digital Payments Ecosystem Leadership

• Design next-generation real-time payment infrastructures supporting domestic and cross-border transactions.

• Architect financial systems capable of managing large-scale digital transaction volumes with minimal latency.

• Oversee integration of API-based payment services connecting banks, fintech platforms, and merchant networks.

Financial Intelligence & Data Strategy

• Develop advanced financial intelligence platforms capable of monitoring transaction behavior, detecting fraud patterns, and supporting regulatory reporting.

• Integrate AI-driven analytics engines to enhance financial risk detection and transaction insights.

• Implement data governance frameworks ensuring financial data integrity and regulatory transparency.

Regulatory Governance

• Align operational frameworks with directives issued by

Candidate Expertise

Academic Background

• Master’s or higher qualification in Financial Technology, Data Science, Digital Banking, or Financial Engineering

Professional Experience

• 12+ years in fintech strategy, payment networks, or financial intelligence platforms

Specialized Skills

• Payment infrastructure architecture

• Financial data analytics and regulatory reporting
