Position Overview
The United Arab Emirates continues to define the next era of global digital finance through transformative cross-border payment infrastructures and real-time settlement networks. This role seeks an accomplished fintech strategist to architect and oversee large-scale digital payment frameworks integrating AI-driven transaction validation, blockchain-based clearing systems, and advanced regulatory compliance automation across multi-jurisdictional environments.
Core Responsibilities

Design and implement unified digital payment interoperability frameworks connecting regional and international payment networks under the UAE’s financial modernization strategy.

Lead end-to-end architecture for instant payment ecosystems, enabling frictionless B2B, B2C, and G2C transactions across multiple currencies and corridors.

Oversee AI-enabled anti-fraud and AML frameworks leveraging real-time behavioral analytics and risk intelligence engines.

Partner with regulators to define next-generation financial policy blueprints for tokenized payment instruments and CBDC integration.

Direct digital infrastructure teams in the development of API-first microservices architectures that comply with ISO 20022 and emerging cross-border standards.
Required Expertise

10+ years in digital payments, fintech innovation, or financial systems engineering, with proven regional exposure in GCC or EMEA markets.

Strong command of blockchain, instant payments, and API orchestration layers for global fintech scalability.

Deep understanding of regulatory sandboxes, open banking protocols, and emerging data privacy frameworks (GDPR, DIFC DP Law).

Advanced leadership in multi-disciplinary teams across cloud infrastructure, financial data engineering, and AI compliance systems.
