The Director of Digital Financial Architecture & Transformation will conceptualize, govern, and deliver strategic blueprints for Saudi Arabia’s next-generation digital banking, open finance, and payment ecosystems.
This role demands a profound understanding of multi-rail financial systems, blockchain-enabled infrastructure, and AI-driven financial intelligence, aligning digital innovation with emerging cross-border financial frameworks across the MENA region.
Key Responsibilities

Architect the strategic roadmap for nationwide digital financial transformation, integrating advanced fintech technologies across banking, payments, and capital markets.

Lead enterprise-wide re-engineering of financial systems leveraging blockchain, regtech, and AI-driven credit modeling.

Develop frameworks for open banking, digital identity, and digital asset management, ensuring compliance with SAMA and global interoperability standards.

Oversee systems design integrating ISO 20022 message formats, CBDC readiness, and instant payment protocols.

Collaborate with international financial regulators, policy-makers, and cross-border stakeholders to ensure future-proof fintech infrastructure resilience.

Direct governance mechanisms for digital trust, cybersecurity resilience, and data ethics within financial ecosystems.
Qualifications

Master’s degree or higher in Financial Technology, Systems Engineering, or Economics.

12+ years of experience in digital banking transformation, fintech strategy, or payment systems architecture.

Demonstrated expertise in distributed ledger technology, AI-based analytics, and regtech integration.

Comprehensive understanding of GCC digital financial regulations, SAMA frameworks, and international standards.
