Role Overview
Oman is expanding its fintech capabilities by exploring digital assets, tokenization, and blockchain-enabled financial services. The Remote Director of Digital Asset Strategy & Blockchain Integration will lead the development of frameworks for DLT-based settlement, tokenized financial instruments, and cross-border interoperability, positioning Oman as a strategic fintech innovator in the GCC.
Key Responsibilities

Develop enterprise-grade blockchain strategies supporting payments, asset tokenization, and trade finance.

Collaborate with regulators to establish frameworks for digital asset licensing and compliance.

Integrate CBDC interoperability models with existing financial infrastructures.

Lead cross-border initiatives to connect Oman’s fintech platforms with global markets.

Drive cybersecurity and risk management strategies in blockchain-powered ecosystems.
Qualifications & Expertise

12+ years in fintech, digital assets, or blockchain strategy.

Advanced knowledge of DLT applications, ISO 20022 migration, and CBDC frameworks.

Strong understanding of AML, FATF, Basel IV, and multi-jurisdictional compliance.

Advanced academic qualifications in finance, economics, or computer science.
