Role Overview
The Director of Digital Asset Risk & Regulatory Strategy will lead the development, implementation, and refinement of comprehensive frameworks that govern digital asset activities within the UAE’s dynamic fintech ecosystem. This role requires a fusion of regulatory intelligence, risk modeling expertise, and cross-border policy understanding to ensure digital innovation is fully aligned with evolving UAE and global standards.
Key Responsibilities

Design and oversee advanced risk governance models for digital payments, tokenized assets, and decentralized finance (DeFi) initiatives.

Anticipate, analyze, and integrate UAE Central Bank directives, FATF recommendations, and cross-jurisdictional regulatory evolutions into strategic policies.

Develop and execute enterprise-level stress-testing and scenario analysis frameworks for digital asset portfolios.

Establish a risk-intelligence architecture leveraging AI-driven compliance monitoring and blockchain-native audit trails.

Provide thought leadership in regulatory advocacy, engaging with UAE regulators, financial institutions, and international standard-setting bodies.

Mentor multidisciplinary teams across compliance, quantitative risk, and legal advisory domains.
Candidate Profile

12+ years in financial regulation, fintech risk, or digital asset compliance.

Advanced degree in Financial Engineering, Law, or Risk Management.

Strong command of UAE regulatory landscape and GCC-wide digital finance policies.

Expertise in blockchain protocols, cryptographic assurance, and smart contract auditing.
