Strategic Mandate & Role Context
This role is designed for a senior fintech leader capable of structuring, scaling, and governing advanced digital asset platforms and tokenised financial ecosystems. The Director will define the technical, operational, and strategic frameworks for digital asset infrastructure, including custody platforms, settlement engines, and programmable financial instruments.
The role sits at the convergence of financial engineering, platform governance, and next-generation fintech innovation, requiring a balance of deep technical literacy and strategic foresight.
Core Responsibilities

Design and govern digital asset platforms, including custody, settlement, and transaction lifecycle management

Establish technical and operational standards for tokenised financial instruments and programmable finance systems

Lead platform scalability initiatives to support institutional-grade transaction volumes

Define governance models for digital asset risk, operational resilience, and platform integrity

Collaborate with ecosystem participants to drive interoperability and adoption

Shape long-term innovation roadmaps for advanced fintech platforms
Professional & Technical Requirements

12+ years of experience in fintech platforms, digital asset infrastructure, or advanced financial systems

Strong understanding of distributed ledger technologies, digital custody frameworks, and platform security

Experience designing large-scale financial platforms with institutional-grade controls

Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, product, and governance domains

Strategic mindset with deep technical execution capability
Salary & Compensation Structure (Bahrain)

Base Salary: BHD 6,000 – 8,500 per month

Annual Innovation & Performance Bonus: 20% – 35% of base
