The Director of Digital Asset Governance & Fintech Regulatory Strategy will design strategic frameworks for managing digital asset platforms, blockchain-enabled financial products, and emerging fintech markets.

Working remotely while focusing on Bahrain’s financial landscape, the director will help align fintech innovation with regulatory oversight, international financial standards, and risk governance structures.

Responsibilities

Digital Asset Governance

• Develop regulatory frameworks for tokenized financial assets, digital asset custody systems, and blockchain trading platforms.

• Design governance models ensuring transparency and operational security across digital financial systems.

Fintech Regulatory Strategy

• Establish policies that balance innovation with regulatory accountability.

• Guide fintech ecosystem participants in complying with financial regulatory standards.

Global Regulatory Alignment

• Align fintech policy frameworks with guidance from
  
  Central Bank of Bahrain

• Monitor international standards established by
  
  International Monetary Fund

Risk & Compliance Infrastructure

• Implement monitoring systems capable of detecting financial crime risks, transaction irregularities, and digital asset vulnerabilities.

Candidate Qualifications

Academic Credentials

• Master’s degree or higher in Financial Regulation, Fintech Law, Digital Finance, or Blockchain Technology

Professional Experience

• Minimum 12 years in financial regulation, fintech governance, or digital asset policy

Key Expertise

• Blockchain regulatory frameworks

• Financial compliance and governance

• Digital asset risk management

• International fintech regulatory collaboration
