Position Overview
Bahrain’s evolving fintech ecosystem aims to create a seamless bridge between traditional wealth management and decentralized asset structures. The Director of Digital Asset Custody & Tokenized Wealth Management will design and manage secure, compliant, and globally scalable custody solutions for digital and tokenized investment assets.
Core Responsibilities

Architect multi-layer digital asset custody frameworks integrating blockchain-based access control, MPC cryptography, and institutional-grade security protocols.

Oversee tokenization of real-world assets (RWA) including equities, bonds, and alternative investments within compliant structures.

Develop interoperable asset-management platforms linking traditional investment instruments with decentralized financial markets.

Lead the design of risk, audit, and compliance protocols aligned with evolving GCC digital asset regulations and global custodial standards.

Collaborate with wealth managers, regulators, and digital banks to operationalize custody-as-a-service (CaaS) models.
Qualifications

12+ years in digital asset management, blockchain custody systems, or WealthTech innovation.

Expert knowledge of smart contracts, token standards, digital asset security, and DeFi architecture.

Demonstrated experience leading institutional-grade asset-tokenization projects.

Advanced degree in Blockchain Finance, Information Security, or Financial Technology.
