Role Overview
This role is structured for a senior fintech professional specializing in cross-border payments architecture, liquidity optimization, and settlement intelligence systems. The mandate is to design high-velocity, low-friction international payment infrastructures capable of supporting complex currency flows, liquidity management, and real-time settlement analytics.
Operating remotely, the role aligns with Qatar’s growing importance in regional and international financial connectivity.
Strategic Mandate & Responsibilities

Architect cross-border payment frameworks integrating FX management, settlement optimization, and liquidity forecasting.

Design real-time systems for liquidity visibility, treasury optimization, and settlement risk management.

Oversee interoperability between domestic payment systems, international rails, and correspondent networks.

Establish analytical engines for payment flow intelligence, cost optimization, and exception handling.

Define governance structures for settlement finality, reconciliation accuracy, and operational resilience.

Act as a strategic authority on future-state international payments and settlement modernization.
Technical & Domain Expertise

Deep expertise in cross-border payments, treasury systems, and settlement infrastructure.

Strong command of payment messaging standards, FX workflows, and liquidity models.

Experience designing mission-critical, real-time financial processing systems.

Ability to align payments innovation with operational stability and transparency.
Salary Structure (Indicative – Remote, Qatar-Focused)

Base Monthly Compensation: QAR 42,000 – QAR 60,000

Annual Settlement Performance Bonus: QAR 170,000 – QAR 300,000
