Role Overview

This role provides executive leadership over Qatar’s emergent algorithmic wealth management ecosystem, combining quantitative finance, financial data engineering, predictive analytics, and investor-protection-aligned governance. The Director leads the design of highly scalable, intelligent wealth systems capable of supporting multi-asset portfolios, algorithmic advisory models, and institutional-grade investment optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect next-generation algorithmic portfolio engines, integrating predictive factors, volatility-adaptive allocation logic, risk-adjusted optimization models, and automated rebalancing infrastructure.

• Oversee development of multi-layer investment intelligence platforms incorporating macroeconomic signal extraction, market regime identification, factor decomposition, and dynamic exposure modeling.

• Design investor profiling and suitability engines using behavioural analytics, psychometric segmentation, machine-driven risk taxonomy, and trajectory projection.

• Lead construction of secure wealth data architectures including low-latency processing, encrypted data fabrics, cloud-native compute clusters, and standardized reporting pipelines.

• Develop governance frameworks ensuring model transparency, quantitative ethics adherence, investment risk control, and Qatar-aligned investor protection compliance.

• Advance wealth innovation agendas involving tokenized investment assets, smart-portfolio automation, income-projection simulations, and hybrid robo-advisory deployment.

• Collaborate with regulators, fintech ecosystems, and financial institutions to promote algorithmic governance, secure investment access, and market integrity.

Required Expertise

• 10+ years in wealth technology, quantitative portfolio engineering, algorithmic financial systems, or digital advisory infrastructure.

• Strong command of predictive modeling, cross-asset risk analytics, financial data pipelines, and advanced investment optimization.

• Familiarity with Qatar’s investment regulatory frameworks and digital financial modernization strategy.
