About the Role

We are seeking an avant-garde Director of AI-Driven Financial Product Innovation to lead conceptualization, engineering, and launch of intelligent, algorithmically adaptive fintech solutions tailored for Qatar’s emerging smart banking ecosystem. This remote executive position offers a rare opportunity to shape next-generation products that sit at the intersection of AI, behavioral finance, and customer-centric design, under Qatar’s National Vision 2030 for sustainable and digital economic leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect the full product lifecycle of AI-powered retail, SME, and wealth management digital finance offerings.

• Build Qatar-focused use cases that leverage machine learning models, real-time analytics, and predictive behavioral modeling to generate hyper-personalized financial experiences.

• Lead multidisciplinary remote squads of engineers, behavioral economists, product managers, and compliance specialists across diverse time zones.

• Partner with Qatari stakeholders to ensure strategic compliance with QCB (Qatar Central Bank) mandates and sandbox testing guidelines.

• Evaluate strategic acquisitions or partnerships in AI-driven regtech and robo-advisory startups aligned with Shariah finance compatibility.

• Champion explainable AI (XAI) frameworks to ensure all models used are audit-compliant and transparent to regulators and clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product leadership experience in fintech, with at least 4 years specializing in AI or ML-driven products.

• Prior exposure to financial innovation within the Qatari or GCC market is preferred.

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or Cognitive Data Science.

• Demonstrated understanding of Islamic finance nuances and ethical AI guidelines in MENA financial contexts.

• Strong familiarity with open banking APIs, federated learning, and digital identity ecosystems.

Key Technologies & Frameworks

• TensorFlow, PyTorch, FastAPI, GraphQL, Neo4j, Azure ML Ops

• Kubernetes, Airflow, Kafka for distributed model deployment

• Privacy-preserving ML tools like OpenMined, federated GANs
