Role Purpose

The Director will lead the architecture, modernization, and intelligent automation of Oman’s emerging digital banking ecosystem. This includes designing frictionless financial user experiences, building fully compliant open-finance API frameworks, integrating advanced AI engines, and deploying multi-domain digital banking capabilities scalable across national and regional markets.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Banking Transformation

• Architect next-generation digital banking platforms incorporating intelligent onboarding, hyper-personalized financial journeys, and automated decision-making engines.

• Build user-centric financial interfaces integrating predictive analytics, behavioral modeling, and adaptive financial guidance.

Open-Finance Infrastructure Development

• Develop secure, governance-driven open-finance API frameworks supporting payments, lending, savings, wealth products, and financial data portability.

• Establish standardized API specifications, sandbox environments, data-exchange controls, and audit-ready compliance pipelines.

AI-Driven Financial Intelligence

• Deploy AI engines for fraud analytics, credit decisioning, dynamic risk assessment, and real-time customer segmentation.

• Build model-governance structures ensuring explainability, resilience, and regulatory alignment across AI-driven financial workflows.

Candidate Profile

• 10+ years in digital banking technology, open-banking/finance architecture, or AI-enabled financial systems.

• Proven capability designing modern financial platforms using APIs, cloud-native architecture, and data-intelligence layers.

• Strong grounding in GCC financial regulations and digital market transformation objectives.

• Strategic leadership with experience guiding multi-stakeholder modernization programs.
