Role Overview:
As Oman transitions toward a data-driven and inclusive financial landscape, this executive role calls for a pioneering strategist in AI-powered credit intelligence and embedded finance infrastructure. The Director will define, build, and scale next-generation credit ecosystems that merge real-time behavioral analytics, alternative data scoring, and financial inclusion technologies for both enterprises and individuals.
Core Responsibilities:

Lead the design of an AI-centric credit infrastructure, integrating federated learning models and privacy-preserving analytics to enhance trust and inclusion.

Establish API-enabled embedded finance frameworks, allowing real-time credit decisioning across retail, SME, and gig economy sectors.

Build machine learning engines that synthesize transactional, psychometric, and geospatial data into adaptive risk models.

Collaborate with financial regulators and cloud service providers to ensure data compliance, transparency, and explainability.

Architect a national-scale credit innovation hub, promoting open innovation with startups and global fintech players.

Oversee the creation of AI governance and model validation frameworks, ensuring ethical, bias-free decision-making.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

10–15 years in credit analytics, data science, or embedded finance leadership.

Master’s or PhD in Computational Finance, Applied AI, or Econometrics.

Expertise in credit risk automation, API-driven financial ecosystems, and AI-based decision intelligence.

Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale cross-functional fintech initiatives with multi-market integration.

Knowledge of GCC fintech regulations, particularly around data privacy, AI ethics, and cloud-native financial operations.
