Role Vision
Qatar’s fintech landscape is evolving toward a venture-driven innovation model, where new financial solutions are rapidly conceptualized, tested, and scaled. This role leads a fintech venture studio, responsible for building multiple startups and digital financial products from inception to market entry.
You will operate as a venture architect, combining entrepreneurship, fintech expertise, and ecosystem strategy.
Core Mandate
To ideate, build, and scale fintech ventures across domains such as:
- Digital payments and wallets
- Lending platforms and credit innovation
- Wealthtech and robo-advisory solutions
- Insurtech platforms
- Blockchain-based financial services
Key Responsibilities
- Identify market gaps and develop venture hypotheses
- Build MVPs and validate product-market fit through rapid experimentation
- Assemble and lead cross-functional teams (product, engineering, design)
- Secure partnerships with financial institutions and ecosystem players
- Develop go-to-market strategies and scaling frameworks
- Oversee venture funding strategies and investor engagement

- Lean startup methodology
- Rapid prototyping and iterative development

- Ecosystem collaboration and co-creation

- API-first fintech platforms
- AI-driven financial services

Candidate Profile
- 10–15 years in fintech, venture building, or startup ecosystems
- Proven track record of launching and scaling startups
- Strong understanding of fintech products and market dynamics
- Entrepreneurial mindset with execution capability
Compensation Model
- Venture-linked compensation including performance-based incentives
- Equity-style participation in venture outcomes (where applicable)
- Remote flexibility with periodic innovation workshops
