Position Overview
Lead the strategic transformation of payment ecosystems across digital banking and fintech environments. The Director will shape payment modernization initiatives spanning real-time payments, payment orchestration, merchant acquiring, embedded finance, cross-border transactions, digital wallets, and next-generation financial infrastructure.
Core Responsibilities

Define and execute a multi-year digital payments transformation roadmap.

Lead modernization of payment processing and transaction-management platforms.

Develop strategies for real-time payments, payment orchestration and embedded finance.

Oversee partnerships with banks, payment processors, technology providers and fintech ecosystems.

Establish commercial and operational frameworks for payment products and services.

Improve transaction authorization, settlement efficiency, reliability and scalability.

Monitor emerging payment technologies and translate them into commercially viable initiatives.

Establish executive-level performance metrics covering revenue, transaction volume, authorization rates, operational resilience and customer experience.

Lead multidisciplinary teams across product, engineering, operations, risk and commercial functions.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.

10+ years of experience in payments, fintech, banking technology or financial services.

Demonstrated leadership of complex digital transformation programs.

Strong understanding of payment rails, merchant acquiring, wallets and payment gateways.

Experience managing strategic technology and commercial partnerships.
