THE MANDATE: REDEFINE HOW MONEY MOVES.
We are seeking an exceptional Director to lead strategic initiatives across digital payments and financial-platform expansion.
The successful candidate will operate across payment economics, technology architecture, customer experience, financial infrastructure and commercial strategy, developing scalable frameworks for the evolution of digital transaction ecosystems.
This is a leadership role for someone who understands that a payment is not merely a transaction—it is an interaction between technology, trust, liquidity, identity, data and customer behaviour.
THE FIVE-DIMENSION PAYMENT MODEL
01 — SPEED
Design strategies for increasingly real-time financial transactions and payment experiences.
02 — SCALE
Develop platforms capable of supporting substantial increases in transaction volume without sacrificing reliability.
03 — INTELLIGENCE
Integrate analytics and AI into payment operations to identify patterns, optimise performance and strengthen fraud detection.
04 — CONNECTIVITY
Expand interoperability across:
Banks → Fintechs → Merchants → Platforms → Customers
05 — COMMERCIAL VALUE
Identify opportunities to improve transaction economics, customer adoption and platform monetisation.
EXECUTIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

Define digital-payment strategy and long-term roadmaps.

Identify emerging payment technologies and business models.

Lead payment-platform transformation programmes.

Develop commercial strategies for payment products.

Evaluate payment infrastructure and technology investments.

Establish strategic partnerships across financial ecosystems.

Lead multidisciplinary product, technology and commercial teams.

Develop payment-performance frameworks.

Analyse customer and transaction behaviour.

Identify opportunities for AI-enabled payment intelligence.

Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders.

Monitor GCC and global payment-market developments.
IDEAL EXECUTIVE PROFILE

10–15+ years in fintech, payments, banking, consulting or financial technology.

Strong understanding of payment infrastructure and digital banking.

Demonstrated strategic leadership experience.

Strong commercial and analytical capabilities.
-
Understanding of APIs, financial platforms and emerging technologies.
-
Excellent executive communication.
-
International or GCC experience preferred.
Indicative Compensation
SAR 65,000–95,000 monthly + performance incentives + executive benefits.
