Role Overview
Qatar’s fintech evolution is increasingly anchored in blockchain, tokenized finance, and digital asset ecosystems. The Director of Blockchain & Digital Asset Infrastructure will lead the design and implementation of secure, compliant, and scalable distributed ledger frameworks, driving innovation across banking, payments, and capital markets.
This strategic role requires expertise in blockchain interoperability, regulatory compliance, and enterprise-grade digital asset systems, ensuring the seamless integration of new technologies into Qatar’s financial ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities

Lead enterprise-level blockchain and digital asset architecture, including tokenized settlements and smart contract governance.

Develop multi-chain interoperability frameworks for cross-border payments, custody solutions, and decentralized finance integration.

Ensure full compliance with Qatar Central Bank digital finance regulations and international standards.

Collaborate with fintech innovators, regulators, and institutional stakeholders to drive blockchain adoption and infrastructure scalability.

Oversee integration of secure digital asset wallets, programmable financial instruments, and advanced cryptography.

Conduct feasibility analyses, technology assessments, and strategic planning for national-level digital asset infrastructure initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience

10+ years in blockchain architecture, digital assets, or fintech innovation.

Deep technical proficiency in Ethereum, Hyperledger, smart contract development, and cryptographic security protocols.

Experience leading large-scale digital asset projects with regulatory oversight.

Strong strategic, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills in a global fintech context.
