A DeFi Governance Strategist is required to oversee governance structures for decentralized financial protocols, ensuring they remain transparent, secure, and economically sustainable.

Core Mission

To design and manage governance frameworks that ensure DeFi ecosystems operate with:

• Transparent decision-making mechanisms
• Secure treasury and liquidity management
• Sustainable protocol evolution and upgrades

Key Responsibilities

1. Governance Framework Design

• Define governance structures for decentralized financial protocols.
• Establish voting mechanisms for protocol upgrades and parameter changes.
• Design decentralized decision-making workflows.

2. Treasury & Liquidity Oversight

• Monitor protocol treasury allocations and liquidity pools.
• Develop strategies for sustainable yield distribution and reserves.
• Ensure treasury operations align with governance decisions.

3. Protocol Risk Management

• Identify governance-related risks in smart contract ecosystems.
• Evaluate risks associated with token emissions, staking models, and incentives.
• Propose mitigation strategies for protocol instability.

4. Community & Stakeholder Governance

• Facilitate governance participation among token holders and stakeholders.
• Analyze voting behavior and governance engagement trends.
• Support transparent communication of governance proposals.

Core Knowledge Areas

• DeFi governance models (DAO structures, voting systems)
• Tokenomics and incentive design
• Treasury management in decentralized systems
• Smart contract governance frameworks

Candidate Profile

• 6–10+ years in fintech, blockchain, or crypto governance
• Strong understanding of DeFi protocols and token systems
• Experience with DAO governance or decentralized systems
• Analytical mindset with strategic financial thinking
