Governance failures in decentralized systems often emerge from poor treasury controls, token concentration, and unmonitored on-chain behavior.

A DeFi Governance Risk Analyst is required to monitor governance health, assess protocol vulnerabilities, and strengthen decision-making frameworks across decentralized financial systems.

Core Mission

To protect DeFi ecosystems through:

• Continuous governance risk monitoring
• Protocol vulnerability analysis
• Secure on-chain treasury and governance visibility

Primary Responsibilities

1. Governance Risk Monitoring

• Monitor governance participation across token-holder voting systems.
• Identify abnormal governance patterns such as whale voting dominance or governance attacks.
• Analyze governance proposal outcomes for systemic protocol risks.

2. Treasury Exposure Analysis

• Review treasury movements across liquidity pools, staking systems, and reserve assets.
• Assess protocol exposure to volatility and liquidity concentration risks.
• Support treasury protection strategies through governance controls.

3. Protocol Security Intelligence

• Monitor smart contract governance interactions and execution outcomes.
• Identify governance-related vulnerabilities that could affect protocol stability.
• Support post-governance incident reviews and protocol recovery planning.

4. Reporting & Risk Advisory

• Prepare governance health reports for internal leadership and protocol stakeholders.
• Develop governance risk scoring systems for protocol monitoring.
• Recommend policy improvements for governance resilience.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 5–9+ years in blockchain compliance, fintech risk, or DeFi analysis
