To lead this transformation, the organization is seeking a Chief Technology Officer – Digital Payments Infrastructure, Switching Systems & Real-Time Settlement Architecture.
This role is accountable for defining the technological core of a modern payments ecosystem—where performance, resilience, and precision are non-negotiable.
Core Responsibilities
Payments Infrastructure Architecture
- Design and oversee large-scale payment switching systems.
- Build real-time transaction processing platforms.
- Enable seamless integration across multiple payment rails.
- Ensure interoperability with banking systems and digital wallets.
Real-Time Settlement Systems
- Develop frameworks for instant settlement of transactions.
- Optimize clearing and reconciliation processes.
- Reduce latency in transaction processing pipelines.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of payment systems.
System Scalability & Performance
- Architect infrastructure capable of handling high transaction volumes.
- Optimize throughput and system responsiveness.
- Implement fault-tolerant and distributed system designs.
- Maintain operational continuity under peak loads.
Security, Risk & Compliance
- Implement robust fraud detection and prevention systems.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Protect sensitive financial data across systems.
- Maintain transparency and auditability of transactions.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in payments, fintech, or banking technology.
- Strong expertise in payment switching and transaction systems.
- Proven leadership at executive technical levels.
- Deep understanding of financial infrastructure.
