Position Overview:
A pioneering fintech venture is seeking a seasoned Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) to spearhead enterprise-wide digital growth and multi-market strategy execution, with a strategic lens on the United Arab Emirates’ fintech ecosystem. This is a senior, executive-level, remote-first opportunity designed for a visionary leader who can balance financial innovation, regulatory diplomacy, ecosystem expansion, and hyper-scalable platform strategy in an increasingly digital financial era.
Core Strategic Responsibilities:

Architect, refine, and execute the multi-year strategic growth plan in alignment with UAE’s Vision 2031, Central Bank of UAE’s FinTech Office guidance, and Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) innovation mandates.

Forge strategic alliances with digital banks, AI-native wealth platforms, BNPL providers, and Open Finance API ecosystems across the UAE and broader GCC.

Lead cross-market research to identify UAE-specific customer behaviors, underserved verticals (e.g., gig economy lending, cross-border SMEs), and regulatory white space.

Analyze and align operations with Emirates Blockchain Strategy, UAE Data Protection Law, and ADGM’s regulatory sandbox criteria for financial innovation.

Collaborate with legal, marketing, and product teams to design Shariah-compliant digital assets, tokenized finance solutions, and cross-chain payment rails.

Act as a public-facing strategic voice in investor briefings, fintech summits, and policy advisory roundtables.
Candidate Profile & Requirements:

MBA or Master’s degree in Strategy, Economics, Finance, or Emerging Technologies from a recognized institution.

10+ years of senior leadership in fintech, venture strategy, or digital financial services across multiple regions.

Strong understanding of UAE’s fintech ecosystem, digital banks licensing framework, VARA, and DIFC/ADGM compliance regimes.

Demonstrated success in scaling fintech platforms beyond MVP, including GTM execution, monetization strategy, and tech stack alignment.

Prior exposure to investor relations, board governance, and regulatory negotiation preferred.

Ability to operate remotely with agility and credibility in high-stakes executive environments.
