Role Overview

The UAE’s fintech sector is accelerating the growth of embedded finance solutions and digital lending ecosystems, particularly to empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The Remote Chief Strategist of Embedded Finance, API Ecosystems & Digital SME Lending Platforms will architect platform-based lending systems, embedded financial services, and API-driven integrations across retail, corporate, and e-commerce platforms.

This role requires an innovative fintech strategist with expertise in SME credit modeling, embedded finance, and large-scale API ecosystems to support the UAE’s broader digital economy objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Embedded Finance Expansion

  • Build finance-as-a-service platforms enabling lending, insurance, and payments to be embedded within non-financial ecosystems.

• SME Lending Transformation

  • Deploy AI-driven credit scoring, alternative data models, and digital onboarding processes for SME financing.

• API Ecosystem Development

  • Scale API-driven platforms that connect banks, fintechs, and marketplaces seamlessly.

• Digital Product Innovation

  • Introduce BNPL for SMEs, real-time cash flow analytics, and invoice financing tools.

• Market Integration

  • Collaborate with UAE regulators, accelerators, and financial institutions to expand embedded finance adoption.

• Risk & Compliance Oversight

  • Ensure solutions adhere to UAE financial regulations, data privacy, and AML/CFT frameworks.

Candidate Profile

• 12–20 years in digital lending, embedded finance, or fintech strategy.

• Expertise in SME credit, API ecosystems, and digital onboarding.

• Strong knowledge of UAE’s regulatory frameworks and global embedded finance practices.

• Experience in launching scalable fintech platforms across retail and SME segments.

• Visionary leadership in platform-based finance ecosystems.
