Role Overview

The Chief Strategist will drive Bahrain’s digital asset institutionalization by architecting tokenization ecosystems, multi-ledger integration frameworks, real-time risk intelligence engines, and programmable settlement systems. This mandate centers on building institutional-grade, secure, scalable, and compliant digital asset infrastructures—supporting asset tokenization, digital custody, automated risk supervision, and AI-enhanced compliance monitoring across multi-jurisdictional environments.

This role demands deep command of digital assets, distributed ledger engineering, institutional custody systems, compliance intelligence automation, and programmable settlement design.

Core Responsibilities

Tokenization & Digital Asset Infrastructure Design

• Develop tokenization frameworks enabling issuance, lifecycle control, investor onboarding, and regulated asset flows.

• Architect ledger-agnostic interoperability channels enabling secure cross-chain settlement and institutional-grade asset mobility.

Digital Custody Engineering & Security Assurance

• Design high-assurance digital custody solutions using multi-signature schemes, HSM-backed cryptographic anchors, and secure enclave structures.

• Oversee penetration resilience modeling, cryptographic hardening, breach mitigation, and operational continuity frameworks.

Automated Compliance & Supervisory Intelligence

• Deploy AI-driven compliance engines capable of detecting abnormal trading behaviors, market manipulation patterns, and ledger-based AML indicators.

• Establish regulatory dashboards offering real-time asset flow visibility, market integrity insights, and systemic risk alerts.

Programmable Settlement & Smart Asset Flows

• Engineer programmable settlement pipelines integrating rule-based transfers, conditional collateralization, atomic swaps, and multi-asset clearing.

• Develop audit-grade decision logs ensuring transparency, traceability, and regulatory-compliant asset event recording.

Qualifications

• Master’s/PhD in Digital Asset Engineering, Blockchain Architecture, Financial Cryptography, or Computational Finance.

• 12–15 years in digital asset system architecture, custody engineering, institutional blockchain frameworks, or fintech innovation strategy.

• Expertise in digital asset compliance, smart contract auditing, cryptographic systems, and institutional market operations.
