Role Mandate & Strategic Context

This position is crafted for a senior fintech strategist responsible for designing and scaling platforms that enable seamless cross-border money movement, multi-currency settlement, and international financial interoperability.

The Chief Strategist will define how money moves across borders in a fintech-native world, balancing speed, transparency, cost efficiency, and regulatory alignment across diverse jurisdictions and currency regimes.

Key Strategic Responsibilities

  • Define platform strategies for cross-border payments, FX routing, and multi-currency settlement

  • Architect systems supporting real-time currency conversion, liquidity pooling, and corridor optimization

  • Establish governance frameworks for pricing transparency, settlement finality, and operational risk

  • Lead integration of global payment networks, local clearing systems, and fintech rails

  • Oversee data models and analytics for flow optimization, cost efficiency, and corridor performance

  • Act as senior strategic interface with regulators, financial institutions, and ecosystem participants

Candidate Profile

  • 16–22+ years in cross-border payments, global fintech platforms, or international financial systems

  • Deep understanding of FX mechanics, settlement cycles, and international payment structures

  • Proven experience designing scalable, regulator-ready cross-border platforms

  • Strong executive communication and multi-jurisdictional coordination skills

Salary & Leadership Compensation Structure

  • Base Salary: QAR 70,000 – QAR 100,000 per month

  • Annual Incentive: 35% – 50%
