Strategic Mandate
This role is conceived for a fintech executive who governs entire digital financial ecosystems as coherent, living systems. The Chief Steward of Fintech Platform Sovereignty & Digital Financial Ecosystem Design is accountable for how fintech platforms are conceived, interconnected, governed, and evolved over decades—not merely how they operate today.
The mandate is neither operational nor product-centric. It is ecosystem stewardship, platform sovereignty, and long-horizon system design across payments, digital banking, embedded finance, data intelligence, and financial APIs.
Core Responsibilities

Define and institutionalize platform-level architectural principles governing scalability, interoperability, resilience, and ecosystem participation.

Architect multi-layer fintech ecosystems, integrating payments infrastructure, financial products, data platforms, and developer interfaces into a unified system.

Establish governance models ensuring platform sovereignty, vendor independence, and long-term architectural continuity.

Oversee system-wide standards for API orchestration, service composition, and cross-platform data exchange.

Lead strategic planning for ecosystem expansion, including third-party participation, platform monetization logic, and developer enablement.

Coordinate senior leadership across platform engineering, fintech architecture, security, and financial systems design.

Represent the ecosystem vision in international fintech, platform-engineering, and financial-infrastructure dialogues.
Required Executive Profile

17+ years of experience in fintech platforms, digital banking ecosystems, or large-scale financial system architecture.

Deep mastery of platform economics, distributed systems, API governance, and fintech operating models.

Proven leadership over multi-stakeholder digital financial ecosystems.

Ability to operate at both macro-architectural and executional levels with long-term vision.

International fintech exposure is essential.
Compensation & Executive Salary Structure (UAE)

Base Salary: AED 105,000 – 145,000 per month

Annual Executive Bonus: 35% – 55% of base (linked to ecosystem maturity, platform adoption, and system resilience)
