Role Overview
This executive-level remote position is designed for a fintech strategist capable of defining, engineering, and operationalizing next-generation digital payments infrastructures for the UAE market. The role demands mastery of distributed financial systems, cross-border settlement frameworks, and advanced payments interoperability aligned with global standards. The ideal professional will architect platform-level capabilities that enable scalability, regulatory resilience, and high-precision transaction orchestration across diverse digital ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities

Design and operationalize UAE-aligned enterprise payment architectures spanning real-time payments, tokenized money flows, and multi-rail settlement pathways.

Define and govern enterprise-wide technical standards for digital payments APIs, payment orchestration engines, fraud-detection layers, and identity-verification pipelines.

Develop high-availability service mesh frameworks enabling sub-second transaction processing across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.

Construct AML-risk scoring and behavioural analytics models leveraging advanced ML frameworks and streaming data pipelines.

Establish compliance-aligned integration blueprints for interoperability with the UAE’s regulatory digital infrastructure, including advanced reporting and supervisory visibility layers.

Lead the end-to-end transformation of digital payments products, ensuring frictionless user-experience engineering, advanced security orchestration, and enterprise-grade reliability.
Qualifications

12+ years in digital payments engineering, enterprise architecture, or platform-level fintech systems design.

Proven expertise in ISO 20022, real-time payments systems, tokenized assets settlement, and advanced payments orchestration frameworks.

Deep technical background in distributed systems, multi-cloud infrastructure, data-stream processing, and zero-trust security architectures.

Extensive leadership experience within high-complexity fintech organizations, preferably across GCC or international markets.
