Role Overview

Oman is advancing its financial sector transformation with AI-first infrastructures and digital-native customer ecosystems. As Chief Innovation Officer – AI-Enabled Digital Banking & Intelligent Ecosystems, you will spearhead strategies that integrate next-generation digital banking platforms with adaptive AI systems, transforming the way financial services are consumed, scaled, and delivered.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural transformation of core banking systems into AI-native, cloud-first infrastructures.

• Deploy hyper-personalized customer engagement frameworks, integrating predictive analytics, NLP, and behavioral AI.

• Develop API-first ecosystems embedding banking services into retail, logistics, and digital commerce platforms.

• Oversee regulatory-aligned AI governance models, ensuring transparency, explainability, and compliance across GCC jurisdictions.

• Create new revenue streams via digital-first products such as AI-driven micro-lending, real-time wealth advice, and cross-border embedded payments.

Ideal Profile

• 15–20 years in fintech, banking transformation, or AI-led product ecosystems.

• Technical expertise in machine learning, AI banking platforms, API monetization, and cloud-native architectures.

• Global experience in scaling digital banking systems across emerging and developed markets.

• Board-level presence with strong influence in policy-making, fintech consortia, and regulatory innovation hubs.
