Position Overview
The Chief Global Strategist – Digital Finance Ecosystem & Open Banking Transformation will lead the development of next-generation open banking and digital finance infrastructures across Saudi Arabia’s evolving fintech environment. This role will orchestrate the strategic convergence of APIs, data interoperability frameworks, and digital identity governance systems, advancing the Kingdom’s position as a regional epicenter for digital financial innovation.
Key Responsibilities

Design and oversee the national open banking interoperability strategy, enabling seamless integration across banks, fintechs, and payment institutions.

Drive the deployment of secure API ecosystems supporting digital payments, lending, and real-time financial analytics.

Implement frameworks for AI-assisted data orchestration and predictive financial behavior modelling to enhance customer-centric innovation.

Coordinate cross-sector collaboration between regulators, financial institutions, and global fintech stakeholders.

Lead research initiatives in embedded finance, API standardization, and data-driven credit intelligence.

Define compliance models aligned with global open finance regulations and GCC data governance protocols.
Required Expertise

15+ years of progressive experience in digital banking, open finance architecture, or financial system transformation.

Proven record in ecosystem-scale digital finance projects and API governance at global standards.

Advanced degree in Financial Technology, Systems Engineering, or Digital Economics.

Deep familiarity with GCC fintech regulations, cross-border data frameworks, and AI-based financial intelligence.
