This role is conceived as a C-suite–level architectural authority responsible for the long-term integrity, scalability, and coherence of digital financial systems and payment infrastructures. Operating fully remotely while aligned with Saudi Arabia’s fintech landscape, the Officer functions as the ultimate decision-maker on system architecture, not as an operational manager.

The position exists to ensure that fintech platforms are designed correctly from first principles, capable of absorbing scale, innovation, and complexity without structural fragility.

Executive Mandate

• Define the canonical architecture for digital payments, transaction processing, and financial data movement

• Establish architectural doctrines governing scalability, availability, and transaction finality

• Own long-term infrastructure roadmaps and system evolution logic

• Ensure interoperability across fintech platforms and financial services

• Act as final authority on architectural trade-offs and system design decisions

• Translate strategic financial objectives into executable technical blueprints

• Transaction processing engines and orchestration layers

• Payment routing, clearing, and settlement frameworks

• Data integrity, reconciliation, and auditability structures

• Platform resilience, redundancy, and fault-containment models

• Technology lifecycle governance

• 15–20 years in fintech architecture, payments engineering, or financial systems design

• Proven stewardship of mission-critical, high-volume transaction platforms

• Strong systems thinking and architectural judgment

• Ability to operate independently with board-level accountability
