This role is designed for an elite fintech security leader capable of building enterprise-grade cyber defense systems protecting the future of digital finance.
Mission Objective
To architect and oversee advanced fintech cybersecurity infrastructures integrating:
- Digital banking defense ecosystems
- Real-time fraud and threat intelligence
- Cloud-native financial security systems
- Zero-trust financial access architectures
- AI-powered cyber resilience frameworks
Primary Responsibilities
1. Financial Cybersecurity Architecture
- Design enterprise-grade security infrastructures protecting digital banking platforms, payment gateways, and financial APIs
- Build zero-trust security models across cloud-native fintech ecosystems
- Architect identity and access management systems for large-scale financial environments
2. Real-Time Threat Detection & Incident Response
- Develop AI-powered threat monitoring systems capable of identifying suspicious activity in real time
- Lead cyber incident response operations across high-volume fintech infrastructures
- Build automated threat intelligence workflows minimizing operational exposure
3. Cloud & Infrastructure Security
- Secure distributed financial cloud environments across multi-region infrastructures
- Implement container and Kubernetes security controls for fintech microservices ecosystems
- Design resilient disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks
4. Fraud Prevention & Transaction Security
- Build intelligent fraud detection systems protecting digital transactions and customer financial activity
- Develop behavioral analytics systems identifying account takeover risks and payment anomalies
- Integrate multi-factor authentication and advanced encryption frameworks into financial platforms
5. Governance, Compliance & Security Strategy
- Ensure alignment with financial security regulations and international cybersecurity standards
- Build audit-ready operational security frameworks for enterprise fintech environments
- Lead strategic cyber resilience planning across regional financial operations
Technical Requirements
- 10–18 years in cybersecurity, fintech security engineering, banking infrastructure protection, or enterprise security architecture
- Strong expertise in:
- Cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- SIEM platforms
- Zero-trust architecture
- API security
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Kubernetes & container security
- Threat intelligence systems
- Experience protecting:
- Digital banking systems
- Payment infrastructures
- Real-time financial transaction environments
- Enterprise fintech platforms
Preferred Expertise
- Knowledge of PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and fintech governance standards
- Experience with fraud analytics and financial threat modeling
- Familiarity with security automation and AI-driven detection systems
- Understanding of digital identity and authentication ecosystems
