Fully Remote | Policy-Driven Fintech Architecture Role
Role Mandate
This position sits at the intersection of fintech platform design, regulatory architecture, and long-term governance strategy. The role is responsible for ensuring that advanced fintech systems are regulation-ready by design, embedding compliance logic directly into platform architecture rather than treating it as a downstream obligation.
The Lead will define how fintech platforms structurally align with regulatory oversight, auditability, transparency, and operational resilience, while remaining scalable, modular, and innovation-friendly.
Strategic Scope & Responsibilities

Design regulatory-embedded fintech architectures across payments, digital banking, and financial platforms

Translate regulatory requirements into technical controls, system constraints, and governance logic

Define platform-level auditability, reporting automation, and supervisory data access frameworks

Establish policies for platform resilience, business continuity, and operational risk containment

Advise on regulatory interaction models between fintech platforms and supervisory authorities

Lead governance reviews of fintech system expansions, integrations, and architectural changes

Mentor senior engineers and product leaders on compliance-first system design
Professional & Technical Requirements

12+ years in fintech governance, regulatory architecture, or financial systems oversight

Strong understanding of financial regulation, supervisory technology, and platform governance models

Experience embedding compliance logic into cloud-native, API-driven fintech systems

Ability to operate fluently between legal, technical, and strategic domains

Exceptional documentation, policy-design, and stakeholder-engagement skills
Salary Structure (Annual)
-
Base Compensation: OMR 70,000 – 85,000

Governance Performance Bonus: OMR 15,000 – 25,000
-
Remote Advisory & Research Allowance: OMR 8,000
-
Total Annual Package: OMR 93,000 – 118,000
