Position Description
The Chief Financial Intelligence & AI Strategy Officer will spearhead the convergence of artificial intelligence, financial analytics, and digital innovation within Qatar’s evolving fintech framework. The role focuses on constructing machine learning-driven intelligence ecosystems for credit scoring, liquidity forecasting, fraud detection, and real-time regulatory reporting.
Responsibilities

Develop advanced AI-driven analytics systems for transaction monitoring, risk assessment, and behavioral segmentation.

Oversee data pipelines integrating structured and unstructured financial datasets for predictive modeling and intelligence extraction.

Build next-generation compliance intelligence architectures enabling autonomous decision-making in AML, sanctions screening, and risk evaluation.

Lead development of financial knowledge graphs and NLP-based insight engines enhancing transparency in fintech operations.

Partner with data scientists, policymakers, and cloud engineers to ensure system integrity, resilience, and ethical AI governance.
Required Expertise

8–15 years in data science, financial analytics, or AI architecture for fintech or digital banking environments.

Advanced knowledge of Python, TensorFlow, and distributed AI computing infrastructures.

Deep familiarity with AI governance, explainable AI (XAI), and financial model auditability standards.

Understanding of GCC data privacy and cross-border information-sharing frameworks.
Educational & Technical Background

MSc or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Financial Mathematics, or Computational Finance.

Certifications in Financial Data Science, Machine Learning Operations (MLOps), or Advanced Risk Analytics.
