Role Summary:
As Kuwait’s sovereign wealth ambitions extend into the realm of citizen financial empowerment and modernized retail investing, a high-caliber opportunity has emerged for a remote Chief Digital Wealth Systems Architect. This individual will spearhead the development of a multi-layered, hyper-personalized wealth infrastructure optimized for GCC clients across income tiers, Islamic investment preferences, and risk appetites.
You will be responsible for building a modular robo-advisory platform that integrates algorithmic asset allocation, goal-based investing engines, Shariah-compliant portfolio intelligence, and machine-learned behavioral nudging systems—all within a secure, compliant, and scalable digital architecture.
Core Responsibilities:

Design next-gen, rules-based and AI-enhanced robo-advisory engines with real-time risk-adjusted allocation models and asset rebalancing algorithms.

Architect a personalized investment funnel integrating KYC, behavioral profiling, financial planning modules, and gamified wealth dashboards.

Build dual-path portfolio infrastructure: conventional and Shariah-compliant investment pipelines.

Integrate fractional ETF, sukuk, REIT, and ESG-themed portfolios with smart contract-based fund accounting and settlement.

Design AI-based market analysis bots that continuously optimize portfolios based on market regimes, risk shifts, and macro-trends.

Ensure complete regulatory compliance with Kuwait CMA’s fintech sandbox guidelines, investor protection mandates, and product suitability frameworks.

Embed Open Finance APIs and integrate with pension systems, neobanks, and salary-linked investment platforms.
Ideal Qualifications:

10+ years in wealth management systems, portfolio engineering, or financial personalization algorithms.

Proven record in building digital wealth products, robo-advisory systems, or hybrid investment platforms in MENA or global markets.

Deep understanding of Modern Portfolio Theory, behavioral finance, Shariah investing, and ESG mandates.

Advanced degree in Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or Wealth Technology Architecture.
