An ambitious fintech initiative within the UAE is seeking a highly accomplished Chief Digital Remittance & Cross-Border Payments Officer to lead the transformation of international payment networks, digital remittance channels, foreign exchange innovation, and global transaction infrastructure.
This role requires an executive capable of managing complex financial ecosystems that connect customers, merchants, payment institutions, banking partners, and technology providers across multiple jurisdictions.
The successful candidate will oversee strategic growth initiatives aimed at delivering faster, more secure, and highly scalable payment experiences while identifying opportunities to expand market share in one of the world’s most dynamic financial corridors.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term international payments strategies.
- Lead modernization of remittance and foreign exchange platforms.
- Drive innovation across real-time settlement ecosystems.
- Expand digital transaction capabilities across multiple customer segments.
- Oversee payment operations, transaction monitoring, and customer experience initiatives.
- Develop strategic partnerships with financial institutions and payment networks.
- Improve transaction speed, transparency, and operational efficiency.
- Identify emerging revenue opportunities within global payments.
- Support expansion into new markets and customer segments.
- Deliver executive reporting to senior leadership committees.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Technology, or Business Administration.
- 12+ years of experience in payments, fintech, banking, or international financial services.
- Deep understanding of global transaction ecosystems.
- Experience managing large-scale payment infrastructures.
- Strong leadership and strategic decision-making capabilities.
