An ambitious opportunity has emerged for a visionary Chief Digital Payments Transformation Officer to lead the strategic modernization of enterprise payment ecosystems across one of the Gulf region’s most rapidly expanding digital finance environments. This executive position is designed for an accomplished fintech leader capable of driving innovation in payment architecture, digital transaction ecosystems, regulatory technology integration, and enterprise-scale financial transformation.
The successful executive will oversee complex payment modernization initiatives, establish strategic alliances with banking institutions, payment networks, fintech innovators, and technology providers while ensuring operational excellence across multi-country financial infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute enterprise payment transformation strategies.
- Lead cross-border payment modernization initiatives.
- Build scalable digital payment ecosystems.
- Develop AI-driven payment intelligence capabilities.
- Oversee digital wallet, merchant acquiring, and payment gateway operations.
- Ensure regulatory compliance across GCC financial jurisdictions.
- Direct fraud prevention and transaction monitoring programs.
- Manage executive stakeholder relationships across financial institutions.
- Drive payment innovation using cloud-native technologies.
- Lead high-performing international fintech teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or MBA in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- 15+ years of senior leadership within fintech, banking, or global payments.
- Strong expertise in ISO 20022, Open Banking, API ecosystems, SWIFT, RTP, and digital payment infrastructures.
- Demonstrated experience managing enterprise digital transformation.
- Executive leadership experience across multinational organizations.
