The Chief Digital Payments Strategist will spearhead the advancement of cutting-edge payment ecosystems across the UAE, driving digital adoption and aligning with global standards in cross-border settlement, instant payments, tokenization, and embedded finance. This role requires a leader with a visionary grasp of digital economy trends, exceptional technical fluency, and the ability to operate across regulatory, strategic, and technological dimensions.
Key Responsibilities

Architect a next-generation digital payments framework for UAE markets, integrating real-time payments, open banking APIs, and blockchain-enabled settlement layers.

Drive interoperability across regional and international payment networks to enhance UAE’s fintech positioning globally.

Lead market entry strategies for digital wallets, BNPL solutions, and AI-powered credit systems, ensuring alignment with consumer protection frameworks.

Collaborate with regulators, international standard bodies, and fintech innovators to craft policies that enhance financial inclusion while mitigating systemic risks.

Establish key performance frameworks for transaction efficiency, fraud resilience, and digital trust indicators.
Qualifications

12+ years of leadership experience in fintech, payments, or financial innovation.

Proven expertise in digital asset regulation, ISO 20022 migration, and CBDC interoperability.

Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
