Role Overview
The United Arab Emirates has rapidly emerged as one of the world’s most vibrant fintech ecosystems, with cross-border payments, instant settlement frameworks, and blockchain-enabled infrastructures driving financial transformation. This role seeks an exceptional fintech strategist with deep expertise in digital payments innovation, regulatory harmonization, and real-time financial network design. Operating fully remotely, the strategist will serve as a senior architect for envisioning and shaping multi-rail digital payment solutions across B2B, B2C, and G2P domains within the GCC and beyond.
Key Responsibilities

Design and implement next-generation digital payment infrastructures, integrating ISO 20022, CBDC interoperability, and tokenized asset settlement layers.

Lead cross-border fintech innovation programs across GCC corridors, addressing real-time settlement, FX digital rails, and liquidity optimization.

Establish digital trust frameworks for identity management, fraud resilience, and biometric authentication in large-scale payment ecosystems.

Advise on the orchestration of multi-jurisdictional regulatory frameworks, ensuring alignment with FATF recommendations and evolving GCC financial mandates.

Develop detailed sandbox-to-scale roadmaps for fintech startups, fostering UAE’s role as a global hub for payment technology leadership.
Candidate Profile

12+ years of proven expertise in digital payments, settlement networks, or blockchain-enabled transaction systems.

Strong understanding of UAE Central Bank directives, regional open banking initiatives, and global standards such as PSD2 and Basel III.

Strategic visionary with hands-on experience in AI-driven payments optimization, biometric security, and real-time clearing systems.

Exceptional capacity to engage with multi-stakeholder environments, bridging the gap between regulators, banks, and fintechs.
