Position Summary
Saudi Arabia is undergoing a systemic transformation of its national payments landscape—advancing toward real-time payment interoperability, digital rail consolidation, and high-governance financial automation.
This role leads the architectural, strategic, and governance frameworks that define how next-generation digital payments, intelligent routing systems, multi-rail settlement corridors, and AI-enhanced risk engines operate at scale.
The Strategist serves as the principal authority establishing cross-border alignment, digital-identity integration, cyber-resilience principles, and end-to-end payment-network modernization.
Core Strategic Mandate
1. Payments Infrastructure Architecture

Design the blueprint for advanced payment rails supporting instant transfers, multi-rail orchestration, merchant-ecosystem integration, and high-availability switching.

Define interoperability protocols across cards, account-based transfers, tokenized payments, wallets, and emerging digital settlement pathways.
2. Transactional Intelligence & Risk Governance

Develop AI-driven detection frameworks for behavioural anomalies, transaction path scoring, fraud interruption, and liquidity-flow monitoring.

Create institution-level protocols for dispute automation, reconciliation engines, and performance observability.
3. Cross-Border Operational Modelling

Establish operational constructs for GCC-wide payment corridors, global remittance alignment, FX optimization layers, and high-governance settlement frameworks.

Produce future-state scenario models assessing infrastructure demands, demographic shifts, and regulatory evolution.
Qualifications

12+ years in payments engineering, financial infrastructure strategy, or enterprise-scale fintech design.

Expertise in multi-rail payments, real-time settlement systems, API-based payment orchestration, and regulatory alignment.

Strong architectural leadership and cross-jurisdictional systems experience.
