Role Overview
Saudi Arabia, at the forefront of the GCC’s digital financial renaissance, is seeking a Chief Digital Payments & Embedded Finance Strategist to lead nationwide payment modernization and accelerate the adoption of embedded financial ecosystems. This role involves building AI-optimized, API-driven payment infrastructures that extend across retail, SME, and enterprise sectors, while integrating with cross-border corridors in Asia, Africa, and Europe.
The mandate goes beyond payments: the strategist will define how embedded finance is woven into the digital economy—from logistics to healthtech, from energy to e-commerce—while ensuring regulatory coherence and global competitiveness.

Deploy AI-enhanced payment architectures to optimize fraud prevention, transaction routing, and credit scoring.

Lead embedded finance expansion into e-commerce, healthcare, logistics, and transport ecosystems.

Establish next-generation open banking frameworks enabling regional interoperability.

Candidate Profile

15+ years in digital banking, payments, or embedded finance leadership.
