Role Overview
The Chief Digital Finance Transformation Officer will be responsible for shaping Kuwait’s fintech modernization agenda by driving strategic adoption of digital-first banking, cross-border payment frameworks, and blockchain-enabled government-to-consumer platforms. This role requires a global fintech strategist with deep domain expertise in embedded finance, AI-driven analytics, and real-time settlement infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities

Develop Kuwait’s roadmap for digital banking modernization, with emphasis on API-first banking, open finance, and instant payment rails.

Spearhead national-level adoption of blockchain and distributed ledger technology in public and private financial services.

Integrate advanced RegTech solutions into compliance and reporting frameworks for financial institutions.

Build partnerships with GCC regulators, global payment networks, and fintech consortia to foster innovation while ensuring systemic stability.

Lead deployment of advanced AI/ML solutions for predictive analytics, anti-money laundering (AML), and risk intelligence.
Ideal Candidate

15+ years of leadership in fintech transformation, payments, or capital markets.

Strong academic background in Finance, Computer Science, or Economics (MBA or PhD advantageous).

Proven ability to execute large-scale financial technology projects in highly regulated environments.

Expertise in CBDCs, blockchain adoption, and AI-enabled digital ecosystems.
