Role Overview:
Qatar’s rapidly evolving digital economy is transforming the financial landscape across payments, asset tokenization, and data-driven banking. The Chief Digital Finance Strategist will be responsible for designing, governing, and scaling advanced fintech frameworks that underpin the modernization of Qatar’s financial infrastructure—encompassing open banking, digital asset governance, and AI-based credit systems.
This senior role demands strategic intellect, technological sophistication, and the ability to shape integrated ecosystems of financial intelligence that align with international digital finance benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop a national-level digital finance architecture integrating AI-driven analytics, programmable money protocols, and cross-border instant payments.

Lead fintech transformation roadmaps spanning digital identity, regulatory data integration, and algorithmic compliance engines.

Partner with regulators, fintech consortiums, and digital payment hubs to enhance Qatar’s fintech competitiveness.

Oversee deployment of hybrid cloud infrastructures supporting blockchain interoperability and secure transaction scaling.

Establish advanced cybersecurity governance models aligned with FATF, BIS, and ISO 27001 frameworks.
Qualifications & Expertise:

12+ years of experience in fintech transformation, digital banking, or financial innovation leadership.

Strong proficiency in blockchain systems, digital asset frameworks, and regulatory technology.

Master’s degree in Financial Engineering, Data Systems, or Applied Economics.

Proven capability in leading remote, cross-functional, multi-regional teams.
Preferred Attributes:

Experience developing open finance APIs and CBDC pilot environments.

Deep understanding of GCC fintech regulation and cross-border interoperability standards.
