Role Overview
We are inviting applications for the position of Chief Digital Finance Ecosystem Architect, a mandate focused on restructuring Bahrain’s digital payments architecture, advancing RegTech platforms, and enabling next-generation open banking infrastructures. This role requires a leader with proven experience in building cross-border interoperable financial systems while aligning with Bahrain’s ambition to remain a regional fintech leader.
Key Responsibilities

Architect API-driven open banking ecosystems, ensuring interoperability between fintechs, banks, and global partners.

Oversee blockchain-enabled payments networks, enhancing efficiency for both domestic and cross-border transactions.

Lead the deployment of AI-powered compliance engines for automated AML/KYC, fraud detection, and risk management.

Build partnerships with global regulators, digital asset networks, and technology providers to expand Bahrain’s international fintech footprint.

Provide strategic direction for CBDC integration within regional payment corridors.
Candidate Profile

12–15 years in digital banking, payments architecture, or financial technology strategy.

Advanced expertise in API ecosystems, blockchain interoperability, and AI in regulatory technology.

Familiarity with Bahrain’s financial services regulations and GCC cross-border finance frameworks.

Advanced qualifications in Finance, Computer Science, or Digital Transformation.
