Position Overview
The Chief Digital Finance Architect will lead the end-to-end design, implementation, and strategic evolution of digital banking and fintech systems for the UAE. This role requires expertise at the intersection of distributed ledger technology, AI-driven decision systems, and open-banking infrastructure, ensuring secure, scalable, and globally interoperable financial platforms.
The executive will direct cross-functional teams to deploy next-generation payment rails, digital asset ecosystems, and predictive financial analytics, positioning the UAE as a hub of intelligent, resilient fintech innovation.
Key Responsibilities

Systems Architecture: Design modular, cloud-native financial platforms supporting real-time payments, tokenized assets, and open banking APIs.

AI & Automation: Integrate machine learning for credit risk evaluation, fraud detection, and liquidity optimization.

Regulatory Alignment: Ensure systems meet UAE Central Bank directives and international compliance standards.

Cybersecurity Leadership: Implement zero-trust architectures, advanced encryption, and continuous monitoring for operational resilience.

Ecosystem Integration: Coordinate multi-institutional fintech ecosystems, ensuring interoperability with regional and international networks.
Qualifications

Ph.D. or Master’s in Financial Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Architecture.

12+ years in fintech systems design, digital banking, or AI-driven finance.

Expertise in Kubernetes, OpenAPI, ISO 20022, and distributed ledger technologies.

Proven experience leading complex, multi-regulatory fintech projects.
