Position Overview
Qatar is accelerating its financial modernization through blockchain and digital currency innovation. The Chief Digital Currency & Financial Innovation Strategist will lead the design, policy alignment, and technical deployment of next-generation monetary systems that redefine financial inclusion, cross-border efficiency, and institutional interoperability across the GCC and global markets.
Key Responsibilities

Architect centralized and decentralized digital currency frameworks that integrate seamlessly with national banking systems and global financial infrastructures.

Develop CBDC interoperability strategies, ensuring compatibility across multiple blockchain networks and cross-border payment corridors.

Lead research and deployment of tokenized financial instruments, including programmable assets and smart liquidity contracts.

Oversee compliance and governance frameworks consistent with global digital asset regulatory standards.

Collaborate with financial authorities to define policy standards for digital finance adoption, cybersecurity, and cross-market settlement efficiency.
Core Qualifications

12+ years in digital finance strategy, blockchain monetary systems, or fintech innovation.

Expertise in CBDC architecture, digital asset regulation, and distributed ledger interoperability.

Deep understanding of macroeconomic policy, monetary innovation, and data security governance.

Advanced degree in Financial Engineering, Economics, or Blockchain Systems.
