The Chief Digital Banking Transformation Strategist will spearhead the remote orchestration of next-generation digital banking ecosystems for institutions across the UAE financial landscape. This role demands a blend of deep fintech acumen, multi-market regulatory expertise, and mastery of advanced technologies, including AI-driven banking intelligence, real-time payments infrastructure, open banking orchestration, and embedded finance frameworks. The strategist will architect scalable, secure, and future-proof financial platforms that align with international best practices while navigating the UAE’s unique innovation-driven financial environment.
Key Responsibilities

Digital Ecosystem Architecture: Design and oversee end-to-end digital transformation strategies for retail, corporate, and institutional banking segments.

AI & Advanced Analytics: Deploy machine learning frameworks to optimize risk modeling, credit scoring, and fraud prevention.

Payments Innovation: Lead cross-border payments optimization, ISO 20022 migration, and instant settlement frameworks.

Open Finance Leadership: Architect open API ecosystems enabling interoperability across UAE banks, fintechs, and global partners.

Cybersecurity & Governance: Implement world-class security protocols aligned with UAE Central Bank directives and global ISO standards.

Regulatory Navigation: Anticipate and incorporate evolving digital finance policies within the UAE, ensuring seamless compliance with cross-jurisdictional mandates.

Strategic Thought Leadership: Act as a global ambassador for UAE fintech excellence in forums, panels, and policy dialogues.
Qualifications

12+ years in fintech transformation, with at least 7 in senior strategic leadership.

Deep expertise in AI, blockchain, cloud-native banking infrastructure, and payments innovation.

Advanced knowledge of UAE’s financial regulatory landscape and global fintech standards.

Proven record in steering large-scale banking transformation programs remotely.

MBA, MSc, or PhD in Finance, Computer Science, or Digital Strategy.
