Role Overview
Bahrain is strengthening its reputation as a regional fintech hub through the advancement of digital-only banking models and RegTech adoption. The Remote Chief Digital Banking Transformation Strategist will drive high-level initiatives that reimagine banking ecosystems, focusing on customer-centric digital journeys, AI-enabled compliance, and cross-border scalability.
This role requires an innovative leader capable of aligning digital identity, KYC/AML automation, and embedded finance models with both GCC and international frameworks.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the strategic transformation of neo-banking platforms, ensuring resilience, scalability, and security.

Design digital onboarding and KYC solutions integrated with biometric and AI-driven authentication.

Collaborate with regulators on sandbox testing environments for emerging digital banking products.

Implement cloud-native banking infrastructures and AI-powered compliance tools.

Shape strategic partnerships with fintech accelerators, regional regulators, and global banking consortia.
Qualifications & Expertise

15+ years in digital banking, fintech innovation, or transformation leadership.

Proven track record in neo-banking design, embedded finance, and RegTech automation.

Strong knowledge of Basel IV, GDPR, FATF, and regional digital banking regulations.

Advanced academic background in finance, digital transformation, or regulatory compliance; MBA preferred.
