Role Overview
Oman’s financial sector is undergoing accelerated digital transformation as part of Vision 2040, with particular emphasis on modernizing banking infrastructure. The Remote Chief Digital Banking Transformation Strategist will spearhead the design and implementation of next-generation core banking platforms, API-driven ecosystems, and cloud-native solutions. This role requires strategic vision, technical expertise, and strong regulatory knowledge to align with Omani and international financial standards.
Key Responsibilities

Define the strategic roadmap for digital banking modernization across retail, SME, and corporate banking.

Lead migration from legacy core systems to agile, cloud-native banking platforms.

Architect open API ecosystems to enable fintech collaboration and third-party integrations.

Drive real-time transaction systems, customer data platforms, and digital onboarding solutions.

Ensure compliance with CMA regulations, Basel III, and international data security standards.

Oversee AI/ML integration for personalized banking and credit scoring models.
Qualifications

12+ years in digital banking, fintech transformation, or core banking modernization.

Proven experience leading enterprise-scale digital banking platform deployments.

Advanced knowledge of cloud-native infrastructure, API gateways, and open banking frameworks.

Master’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or related discipline; MBA preferred.
