Role Overview

We are seeking a Chief Digital Banking Transformation Strategist to lead end-to-end strategy, design, and execution of digital banking platforms tailored to the Kingdom’s evolving financial ecosystem. This senior remote role requires deep expertise in digital banking architecture, customer-centric innovation, cloud-native platforms, and integration with emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and oversee the national-level roadmap for digital-only banks and digital-first banking platforms.

Lead the design of cloud-native banking infrastructures, with full scalability for retail, SME, and corporate clients.

Drive integration of AI, blockchain, open banking APIs, and big data analytics into core digital banking services.

Create frameworks for customer experience transformation, leveraging omnichannel delivery, chatbots, and personalized financial journeys.

Collaborate with regulators and financial entities to ensure compliance with Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) guidelines.

Develop strategies for financial inclusion, targeting underbanked populations with accessible digital banking solutions.

Oversee the launch of new product verticals such as instant credit, digital lending, and wealth management services within digital banking ecosystems.

Lead cybersecurity, fraud prevention, and digital identity frameworks to ensure trust in Saudi Arabia’s fintech environment.

Monitor global best practices and adapt them to Saudi Arabia’s unique regulatory, cultural, and economic landscape.
Qualifications & Skills

Master’s degree in Financial Technology, Banking Innovation, or Systems Engineering.

12+ years of progressive leadership in digital banking or fintech transformation.

Proven expertise in core banking modernization, open banking platforms, and customer digital journey mapping.

Familiarity with GCC and Saudi financial regulations, sandbox frameworks, and digital licensing models.

Strong leadership with the ability to align diverse stakeholders.

Track record in building high-performance digital ecosystems.
