Position Summary
The Chief Digital Banking Transformation & Embedded Finance Director will spearhead the digital reengineering of Oman’s financial services ecosystem through next-generation embedded finance models, open API infrastructures, and intelligent customer experience systems.
This position calls for a fintech visionary with deep knowledge of digital core banking modernization, API monetization, and financial ecosystem integration — ensuring interoperability between banks, fintechs, and non-financial enterprises.
Operating remotely across an interconnected GCC digital economy, this leader will align Omani fintech architecture with global innovation benchmarks and embedded finance ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities

Lead comprehensive digital transformation initiatives integrating open banking, cloud-native systems, and embedded financial capabilities.

Design the framework for bank–fintech interoperability, enabling seamless digital customer journeys.

Drive data-driven product innovation in digital lending, payments, and merchant enablement.

Establish and enforce digital governance, cybersecurity, and customer privacy protocols.

Oversee platform engineering and scalability for multi-channel digital banking delivery.

Collaborate with regulatory and fintech innovation units to accelerate ecosystem convergence.
Candidate Profile

12–18 years of leadership in digital banking transformation, fintech systems integration, or enterprise digital strategy.

Advanced expertise in API architecture, open finance ecosystems, and customer experience intelligence.

Proven ability to scale digital banking infrastructures across diverse markets.

Familiarity with GCC financial transformation frameworks and cross-border interoperability.

Outstanding leadership, communication, and program governance capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
